Book your tickets early:
This is a simple and easy tip that anyone can do, as soon as you have the date you are going away, don’t hang around for last minute deals – get that flight booked so you have a higher chance of getting your favourite seat. Whether that is the window to get a view over the journey, the isle for easy access to get out and stretch your legs or the middle seat as it is rumoured to become the roomiest.
Bring your own pillow:
A small normal or travel pillow is a must essential for long haul comfort. Every long-distance traveller will tell you that these are not optional! If you don’t have one or forget to bring it then have no fear… every airport on the planet will sell them. This is a carry on item that is easy to hold and worth the hassle.
Dress right:
Keep the clothing loose and comfortable, it doesn’t have to be pyjamas. But something like jogging bottoms and a comfortable top or jumper. So when you sit down you aren’t wearing tight clothes that constrict you or uncomfortable shoes that you can’t walk in. It may also be a good idea to bring an eye mask and noise cancelling headphone – they will be your best friend. Check in early:

De-stress before you arrive:
Wake up. Don’t forget to have a nice breakfast. Go to the gym as this will make you more tired, so any seat will seem comfortable. But whatever you do, do not forget to eat and drink as you’re going to need that to help you through the flight.
