If you’re a lover of anything and everything Frozen, we advise you read this with caution… you will most definitely want a 2016 Disney World Holiday after reading this exciting news. In 2016, you will be able to say hello to Elsa and Anna in their very own ride at Epcot: introducing Frozen Ever After Ride.
The Frozen ride will throw you into the movie, however without retelling the story meaning you be a part of the celebration of characters, keep your eye out as you might see a few characters from “Frozen Fever”!
The project team of this ride are partnering with some of the talented individuals that helped bring “Frozen” film to life as well as fantastic composers so expect to be blow away when you ride.
Adults and children, we hope you remember the lyrics to Frozen’s famous songs it might come in handy when you’re being transported around the magical ride. You will be shuttled in logs through a colourful experience through the fictional land of Arendelle from Frozen.
We don’t want to give too much away, but you’ll be greeted by your favourite snowman and reindeer, Olaf and Sven before experiencing Anna and Kristof’s love story. Of course there will be lots of singing so we hope you haven’t lost your voices on any other Disney World ride. You’ll get an up close view of Elsa and her magical ice-creating powers where of course, you’ll end at her Ice Palace singing, none other than “Let It Go”.
The magical experience will end with fireworks and one last goodbye… unless you decide to go back on it which we highly encourage.
Before the film had come early in 2015, talks of a Frozen Ride at Disney had come about and quickly became a fantastic idea as the film was released and became one of the highest-grossing animated film of all time!
We know you’re probably overwhelmed with excitement right now, but it looks like we’ll have to let go of our eagerness and wait. The Frozen Ride will make its appearance in Epcot in 2016 just in time for “Winter in Summer” celebration in the Norway Pavilion. There will also be the addition of the Royal Sommerhus where you’ll be able to meet Anna and Elsa and get photos taken before and after the Frozen Ride. Click here for more information.
With Epcot getting a taste of Frozen, we’re sure that in Spring 2016, it will be the place to meet some of your favourite characters from the film, ride Frozen Ever After and create more magical memories in the beautiful state of Orlando. Sounds great right?
