So when is the best time to visit Walt Disney World? Well, all year round! Any day is a great day at the park of dreams, however if you’re looking to beat the crowds generally anytime outside of school holidays – we’re sorry parents, it’s true! There is a fantastic crowd calendar which helps you determine when the parks will be much busier. To break it down for you, here’s a list of the some of the best times to visit Disney World in 2016:
- February 23rd – March 3rd
- The second half of August
- Most days in September
- Weekdays in October
- Weekdays in November (avoid Thanksgiving)
- Weekdays in December (minus the week of Christmas and New Year’s Eve)
If you’re looking for the best time to travel to Walt Disney with kids in term times, we recommend looking at second half of August. Another thing to consider is temperature. The best time for Disney World is April and May because of the lovely weather; it’s not too hot or cold so standing in so queues won’t seem so bad. January is particularly cold and lots of closures of rides happen in this month so we recommend not visiting then.
Now the question you probably all want to know is when is the cheapest time of year to go to Disney World? We’re sorry parents, but outside of school holidays are particularly cheaper than in school holidays. End of April, June and October are some of the best months price wise, however flight and hotel prices can change at any time throughout the year so if you see a great offer on our website – be sure to book your tickets to ensure a great price.
